In response to the challenges posed by the pandemic, Prof. Wan orchestrated a groundbreaking large-scale training program conducted over the Zoom virtual platform. Over 3,500 working professionals participated, earning more than 30,000 Continuous Professional Development Units (PDU). By leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as virtual breakout rooms, virtual whiteboards, and virtual collaboration tools, he shattered the misconception that soft-skill training could only be delivered in physical settings. In recognition of his innovation, he was nominated for the HKSAR’s Pandemic Innovation Award.

Prof. Wan’s expertise extends beyond academia, as he actively applies his knowledge in practical settings. His recent research paper on Soft Competence for project executives was accepted by various prestigious international forums and published on major search engines, solidifying his reputation as a practitioning-scholar.

Solid Working Experience:

With a wealth of experience in project management, Prof. Wan has held the position of Global Head of PMO at HSBC, overseeing the implementation of a multi-million USD learning project across 78 countries. His expertise and leadership have significantly contributed to the success of this endeavor.
